About

Vertis are a three-piece Fife/Edinburgh band who formed in late 2008. Their vision is to do something unique and exciting whilst allowing their music to be accessible. Since then Vertis have been playing venues all over Edinburgh, Fife and Glasgow as well as further a field to a wide variety of audiences. They were also nominated for King Tuts artist of the month award in April. The response from listeners has been fantastic.
They have received glowing live and studio reviews from the press and record companies such as The News of the World, Fourtrak Records and Vinyl Puppet and have received radio plays form Leith FM, Air3 and GAP radio. They were chosen from over 500 acts to feature on Scotland’s ‘A Sort Of Homecoming’ album which was released late last year.
Vertis are currently working on new material and have released their debut E.P. entitled, In My Defence as well as confirming 2010 festival and gig dates. The future is looking very bright.
